ABD SERIES W/PA CXR - This procedure is two X-Rays of your abdomen with two views of your chest as well.

ABDOMEN 1 VIEW - This is a simple X-Ray of your abdomen.

AC JOINTS W/WO WEIGHTS - This is an X-Ray of your Acromioclavicular joint (shoulder) that is done with you standing, first without weights and then with weights.

ANKLE 3 VIEW MINIMUM - A simple X-Ray of your ankle from three different angles.

BARIUM ENEMA W/ AIR CONTRAST - An X-Ray procedure in which you are given an enema made of barium in order to visualize your large intestine. Air is introduced as a contrast in order to get the best possible pictures.

CT OR CAT SCAN - The CT machine can see inside the brain and other parts of the body, into areas that cannot be seen on regular x-ray examinations. CT makes it possible to diagnose certain diseases earlier and more accurately than with other imaging tools. Because most diseases are better treated when found early, CT scans can help save lives. A CT or CAT scan is the term used to describe a radiologic test known as computerized tomography. The CT scanner is a doughnut-shaped machine that takes pictures of cross-sections of your body, called slices.

DEXA/QUANTITATVE BONE DENSITY - An X-Ray which calculates how dense your bones are.

ECHO COMPLETE - The technician will use an ultrasound machine to obtain images of the heart in action. The physician can visualize the valves and chambers of the heart while it pumps. The test lasts approximately 20 minutes.

EEG AWAKE & DROWSY - Electrodes are attached to the scalp. These electrodes measure the electrical activity of the brain. This test can help the physician determine the presence and extent of certain brain disorders. The test takes approximately 50 minutes.

ELBOW 3 VIEW MINIMUM - A simple X-Ray of your elbow from three different views.

ELECTROCARDIOGRAM COMPLETE - The EKG captures the electrical activity of the heart. The test takes 5-10 minutes and can provide the physician with information helpful in diagnosing certain heart conditions.

ESOPHAGUS - An X-Ray of your esophagus obtained while you drink a substance called Baiurm.

MAMMOGRAPHY, ROUTINE SCREENING - A Mammography is a machine which gives the radiologist pictures of breast tissue. This procedure is recommended annually for women over 40 years of age.

MRI - Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has become a valuable tool in diagnostic orthopedics and other fields of medicine and surgery. It provides a physician the ability to see soft tissues (ligaments, tendons and cartilage) in far more detail than CT scans or X Rays. It basically allows doctors to take a cross section of any part of the body and look critically at the anatomy and possible pathology or problems within it.

MRA ABDOMEN - An MRI study performed to look specifically at the blood vessels of your abdomen.

MRA HEAD AND/OR NECK - An MRI study performed to look specifically at the blood vessels of your head and or your neck region.

The test takes place in the Sleep Lab during the day and utilizes much of the same data gathering sensors and electrodes used during an overnight Sleep Study. The test is used to determine the presence of Narcolepsy.

PELVIS 1 VIEW - X-Ray of the pelvis area, one film used.

POLYSOMNOGRAPHY 4+ - A Sleep Study is a test that determines the presence and extent of certain sleep disorders. The test takes place overnight in the Sleep Lab which is furnished more like a hotel room than a hospital room. Several parameters are measured by sensors and electrodes during sleep. The information gathered is then interpreted by a physician who makes a diagnosis and recommends therapy if needed. The test takes 6-8 hours.

PULMONARY FUNCTION TEST - The patient breathes into a computerized instrument that measures air flows and volumes in the lung. This test can help the physician determine the presence and extent of certain lung diseases.

PULSE OXIMETRY - Pulse oximetry is a simple, painless test that indicates the oxygen level of arterial blood. A clothespin-like sensor is clipped onto the finger. A result is normally obtained within seconds.

SKELETAL SURVEY - A series of X-Rays done to look at all your major bones in 2 different views each.

SKULL 4 VIEWS MINIMUM - Four X-Rays of the skull bones using different views.

SMALL BOWEL - A series of timed X-Rays done after you drink barium. This study can last up to 3 hours.

SPINE; THORACIC AP & LAT - X-Rays of the spine in the area of the rib cage from the front, side and back.

STERNOCLAVICULAR JNT/JNTS MIN - X-Rays of the area where the rib cage attaches to the end of the shoulder.

STERNUM MIN 2 VIEWS - X-Rays of the breastbone, two different views.

STRESS TEST WITH EKG - Patient will walk on a treadmill while blood pressure and continuous EKG are monitored. A Cardiologist and a technician will be present.
